So what most of you don't know is what I do for work. I am currently the Manager of Security Operations at a small company in Irivine, CA. It can kind of be hectic working for a small company trying to fill the shoes of 2 or 3 people but besides that I don't think its that bad. Before this job I worked for Kaiser Permanente as a lead network security engineer there. Now that was a bad job I am not saying it was bad the people I worked with but just the way senior leadership was there. The problem was they had some of the greatest minds working on their networks and on their systems but had clods running the place. There is a few exceptions but most of the time it was Sr. Leaders that didn't have the slightest clue of what they were leading. So now I guess I am on my quest if you will to fix that I am working my way into management and hope one day to manage Sr. Engineers with the direction and decision making skills they need. Oh well let me get back to work now before I stay here and blog all day.

So tonight I found out my girl wants to move into different places after our lease is up. She wants to move in with her girlfriend because going out with them seems to be her priority. Oh well what can I say I kind of expected it. We are way to different about things and want different things in life. Oh well I will drop more info on this as the days go by.
